Who is responsible for your data.

PW Capital Holdings Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and PW Capital Ltd, Rwanda (RDB 138122327) are the joint data controllers for personal information processed in connection with mandate enquiries, capital introductions, and operations of this website. Contact the privacy team at privacy@pwcapital.net.

What we collect

Categories of personal data.

We collect identity data (name, role, organisation), contact data (email, phone), mandate context (sector, funding amount, project description, jurisdiction), technical data (IP, country, browser, request timestamps), and any documents or correspondence you choose to share with us during a mandate review.

Why we collect it

Lawful bases.

• Performance of a contract (engagement letter, NDA) and steps taken at your request prior to entering one.
• Legitimate interests in evaluating, structuring, and delivering capital introductions and advisory services.
• Legal obligations including KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and counter-financing of terrorism rules.
• Consent where required by law for marketing or specific data uses.

Sharing

Who sees your information.

We share personal data only with regulated partners (custodians, paying agents, fund managers, law firms, auditors), capital providers under NDA, technology vendors bound by data-processing agreements, and authorities where law requires disclosure. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertising networks.

International transfers

Cross-border data movement.

Mandate engagements often involve cross-border parties. Where personal data leaves your home jurisdiction, transfers occur under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, the Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and Rwanda Law N° 058/2021.

Retention

How long we keep your data.

Mandate submission data is retained for seven years from last contact, in line with AML record-keeping obligations. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn. Audit-trail logs are retained for the longer of regulatory minimum and statute of limitations applicable to the relevant jurisdiction.

Your rights

What you can ask us to do.

Subject to applicable law, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Send requests to privacy@pwcapital.net with proof of identity. We respond within one calendar month.
